Walking into a Sephora, or Ulta or even a CVS can be completely overwhelming and frustrating. Usually, you end up with a bunch of products that are collecting dust at the bottom of some drawer. Am I right? I like to call it the "Makeup Graveyard". We all have one - hundreds of dollars worth of stuff, just sitting there. Well, I am here to tell you no more! I have compiled a list of products that will become the staples of your makeup bag. They might not be the most fun products to purchase, but these are your basics, your undergarments, so to speak! They work on everyone and will make everything else look better. You will have a functioning makeup wardrobe filled with products you will actually use and love because you will see the difference they make. You can then supplement your makeup bag with the occasional fun and trendy item, such as a new lip color or eyeshadow. I have recommended my favorite tried and true items. Remember to get matched up by a professional for your correct shade of tinted moisturizer and concealer. If you go the drugstore route, keep in mind that you are never "stuck" with a product that doesn't work for you. Just hang on to your receipt and you can exchange it or get a full refund, even if the product has been opened.
