Kick Up Your Heels: Fall Boots

Fall boots should be an investment piece - it's worth spending a bit more for good quality leather that will last.  I'm currently drooling over a few pairs of Frye boots, a brand not known for its affordability, but famous for lasting forever.

This season, forest green and wine-colored boots are excellent alternatives to typical black and brown.

Hot tip:  Many brands also now offer extended calf fit and even provides circumference measurements for those of you who struggle to fit high boots around your calves.

The following are my faves for fall:

Frye Jackie Button boots – a classic riding boot with a slight western flair, these boots will give you a couple inches of height (great for petites!)

Nine West ankle booties - these booties in dark red give a neutral outfit some attitude and are a refreshing alternative to black or brown!

Frye Jenna Disc short boots – wear these studded boots to add some edge to a girly dress, or pair with skinny jeans for full-on toughness.

Laredo Madison cowboy boots – sometimes you just need a cowboy boot.  I’ve had a pair for years that I continue to bust out for just the right occasion.

Frye Carson short booties – these easy to pull on short boots might be the most versatile pair in your closet.

Tosca Blue platform boots – sophisticated and dressy, I’d wear these green suede booties with a dress and tights or even black leather pants.
