Stay Cool with Homemade Popsicles

The past two weeks have been a hot and humid challenge for us Rhode Islanders, and the month of August always promises more heat waves.

Around my house, we take on the heat by making popsicles! Popsicles are not just for kids you know. For instance, all the rage among health conscientious adults is green smoothies. Take it a step further by freezing your morning smoothie

Another Summer go to for refreshment is Watermelon, so get creative and combine some with your other favorite melons and yogurt for a melon pop

Finally, if popsicles are not your thing but you are an Iced Coffee addict, make some Iced Coffee Ice Cubes! Brew a minimum of double strength coffee and allow it to cool. Then pour the coffee into a mold, freeze, remove, enjoy.
